I have inherited a cat (she is beautiful)
I find when I come home or wake up in the morning the whole house smells of urine. She does her business in her litter tray but is there any way I can get rid of the smell??
Any idea? I would prefer natural methods if there are any as I dont really like chemicals but if I can only use chemicals I will.

I'd look at changing your brand of litter. I use a wood pellet, sorry I don't know it's name as it is made locally and I buy it in a recycled bag but good pet shops sell it. It is amazing.

Does your tray have a hood? I had a cat that would pee on the edge and it would seep under the tray so I changed to a hooded tray and had no further problems.

I used to use a product called 'Pawls Stain and Urine remover' which I purchased on the net. I found it very good.

Good luck with your beautiful new cat.
